Walter Burlack (HE/HIM)
Executive Director, COMMUNITY GROWTH FUND
Walter Burlack has managed projects and organizations in the chemical, energy, manufacturing, mining, environmental, community development and nonprofit sectors. He has a demonstrated talent for synthesizing complex project components with diverse participants by leveraging partnerships across industry sectors. In his current role, Burlack utilizes his expertise to connect financial, technical, private, and public resources in support of CGF's mission.
Burlack holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown and a Master of Public Management from Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University. He is the Treasurer of The Pennsylvania Resources Council, Construction Junction, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden and is on the Board of Directors for Peoples Oakland, the PA Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and Chicago’s Friends of the Forest Preserves.
